What it's actually like
The word "tent" is doing a lot of misleading work here. Yes, the walls are canvas. Everything else about it is a standalone villa. Nothing about the structure feels temporary or movable. Inside, the furniture and textiles are the same high standard as the rest of the property, and the same goes for every detail of the design.
What actually makes these rooms special isn't the canvas. It's the privacy. Each tent stands alone, with a sprawling balcony looking straight out over the Atlas Mountains and no other room anywhere in sight. It feels secluded in a way a standard hotel room, even a very good one, just can't.
I kept my stay simple. Pool in the afternoon, a book, lunch, back in the water, repeat. The property has plenty for people who want to be more active too, hiking, mountain biking, and trips out to Berber villages nearby, if lying by a pool isn't the plan.
I booked the upgraded tent with its own hot tub, and that ended up being the best part of the stay, quiet mornings and nights with nowhere to be. I also did a spa treatment, mostly out of curiosity. It was fine, nothing that stood out. If you're booking here specifically for the spa, that's not the reason to come. There's also a tennis court, an indoor and outdoor gym, and an on-site cooking class if you want to do more than relax. Every meal I had on property was genuinely good.
The tents aren't the only room type here. The hotel has a full range, including a newly added set of three-bedroom riads built for families. Whatever type of trip you're planning, there's a version of this property built for it.
